Program Update- January 2022

Happy New Year! We hope that everyone had a lovely holiday season. 

As we welcome 2022 it is hard not to reflect on the significant changes in our lives that have occurred in the last two years.  While there are indications that this wave of the pandemic may have peaked, it is too soon to let down our guard.   Our office has reactivated our Covid-19 safety plan as per the direction from WorkSafe BC. We are working from home and remain closed to walk-ins.  

Our face to face mentoring programs (Family Match and School Grandparent Programs) are on hold because of the Pandemic.  We continue to support existing volunteers and families but currently we are not screening and placing any new program applicants.  Any new family registrations or volunteer applications will be held until it is safe to proceed.  We anticipate re-opening our face-to-face mentoring programs when we reach Step 4 of the BC Restart Plan.
