Radhika has been involved with Volunteer Grandparents since she was three years old. She was matched with her grandparent Maureen through our Family Match Program, and they have continued to share a wonderful intergenerational bond!
In the summer of 2020, Radhika joined our team of summer staff funded by Canada Summer Jobs and launched the Letters to Seniors Program. Her passion for social change and her ambition has allowed her to succeed in her personal life as well as her academic career.
Radhika attends the University of British Columbia where she was the recipient of the Beedie Luminaries Scholarship of $40k. In her first two years of post-secondary school, she received the Beedie Luminaries Academic Achievement Award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Radhika has also secured various accounting internships and has received employment offers from various firms.
We are so proud of Radhika and wish her all the best in her future pursuits!
