Hello! My name is Natalie, and I am delighted to take on the Summer 2022 Administrative Assistant position with Volunteer Grandparents. I am a third-year university student pursuing a degree in Human Geography and Spanish who enjoys reading, crocheting, and playing the flute. As someone who is passionate to create a peaceful and healthier world through local action, I couldn’t be happier joining an organization that focuses on connecting and strengthening our community through volunteer work. Working with Volunteer Grandparents will be a wonderful opportunity to hone my communication, marketing, interview, program management, and fundraising skills, and I’m excited to get the chance to interact with Burnaby’s wonderful volunteer community.
* This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Initiative.
