We welcome our newest team member, Alessia De Blasio. She will be working with us until October 2021 as an Administrative Assistant, a position made possible by Canada Summer Jobs.
Alessia has recently graduated high school and will be pursuing a degree in science at the University of British Columbia in the fall. In addition to her studies, Alessia is passionate about finding creative ways to aid vulnerable individuals in her community. Her aspiration to make a difference in her community led to her involvement in Volunteer Grandparents’ Letters to Seniors program. Her participation in the program inspired Alessia to continue to support the elderly community through volunteerism and local initiatives. Alessia hopes to make a difference through her role with Volunteer Grandparents and apply the knowledge she learns through this experience to all aspects of her life.
