We would like to introduce and welcome Sarah Qiu, our new Program Developer to our Team. Sarah was hired through Canada Summer Jobs funding to assist us in delivering our Letters to Seniors Program throughout the summer and early Fall. She will also be involved with some marketing and grant writing endeavours for Volunteer Grandparents.
Sarah is a psychology and gerontology student at Simon Fraser University with a passion for helping others. Through her involvement in various social organizations, she hopes to facilitate change within her community. Her interest in supporting older adults led her to Volunteer Grandparents. In the future, Sarah plans to pursue her master’s degree with a concentration in health and wellness.
